The materials used draw on a variety of Arabic language teaching material, media content, and audio-visual aids selected by the Language and Culture Institute to meet the needs of the class.
The course consists of class work and homework. It is designed to be both educational and fun for the learner. Language is learned more readily when students are encouraged to learn interactively in a fun and relaxed atmosphere both through classwork and homework.
The instructors are native speakers of Arabic. Course Director Mr. Eli Missouri has an MA in foreign language teaching. He taught Arabic at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also an OPI interviewer.
